About the Journal

The Journal of Political Science and Law (JPSL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Arab Democratic Center. The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly research and critical academic debate in political science, law, international relations, public policy, security studies, political sociology, and related interdisciplinary fields.

The journal welcomes original and unpublished scholarly contributions that present significant theoretical, methodological, empirical, or analytical contributions to the study of political and legal phenomena at the national, regional, and international levels.

The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, political theory, comparative politics, international relations, international law, constitutional and administrative law, public policy, political economy, security and strategic studies, conflict and peace studies, governance, human rights, political sociology, media and political communication, and contemporary political and legal issues.

The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and scholarly quality. All submitted manuscripts are subject to an editorial screening process and, where appropriate, rigorous peer review in accordance with the journal's editorial and ethical policies.

The journal supports the principles of research integrity, transparency, academic independence, responsible authorship, and ethical scholarly communication. Authors are expected to ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, properly referenced, and free from plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct.

The journal follows an open-access publishing approach to facilitate the broad dissemination and accessibility of scholarly knowledge. Copyright, licensing, publication fees, peer-review procedures, conflicts of interest, corrections and retractions, complaints and appeals, and the use of artificial intelligence in research and scholarly publishing are governed by the journal's published policies.

The journal publishes primarily in Arabic and may accept manuscripts in English and other languages subject to the journal's editorial policies and quality requirements.
